Karnataka Samskrit University

Karnataka Samskrit University has been formed exclusively for the development of the Samskrit language. Samskrit has a hoary, glorious, scientific, literary, cultural tradition and heritage. Its contribution in the area of Prose, Poetry, Drama, Dance, Sculpture, Paintings, Fine arts, Medicines, Philosophy, and other allied areas is far more extensive and lasting than has been realized till today. The university was established in 2010 with great efforts by the Karnataka Government. There are 31 Samskrit colleges in Karnataka. There are also 243 aided Veda and Samskrita Pathashalas spread over the state. The Directorate of samskrit education is established by the Government of Karnataka to administer the samskrit pathshala. The Karnataka Samskrit University was established with the vision and mission of bringing these together under a single umbrella, maintaining uniformity in education, providing greater opportunities for study for students and teachers, and raising the standards in Samskrit research at the National and International levels.

Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University

Sanskrit for the well-being of the Nation’ is the ever-shining truth, are the motto and the objective of K.K.Sanskrit University, Ramtek. The Government of Maharashtra established this Sanskrit University on 18th September 1997 in the name of the Great Sanskrit poet Mahakavi Kalidas as Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University at Ramtek in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. Ramtek has historical importance with the temple of Lord Rama at Ramagiri. It is believed that Ramtek was the place where Lord Rama has placed his footsteps and charged the vicinity with nobility while he was in exile. It attracts pilgrims and tourists with nature’s bounty and beauty.

Maharishi Panini Sanskrit Evam Vedic Vishwavidyalaya

Ujjain or ‘Avantika’, as it was known in ancient India, is one of the oldest cities in India and has been traditionally an excellent center for knowledge and learning. The names Kalidasa and ‘Ujjayini’ are inextricably linked in Indian literary traditions. Keeping in view the cultural significance of Ujjain, Maharishi Panini Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya (MPSVV) was established by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh in Ujjain, effective 15th August 2008 for the development and spread of the Sanskrit language and various subjects that form the core of our traditional knowledge systems – Vedas, Vedangas and Sahitya, Kala (Arts), Pracheen Vigyan and Shiksha Shastra.

Central Sanskrit University (CSU)

The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan was established on 15th October 1970 as an autonomous organization registered under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860) under the control of MHRD, which got transformed into a Deemed University in 2002. Further, Central Sanskrit University (CSU) was established on 30th April 2020, by the Government of India, as a premier University for promoting Sanskrit studies in India and abroad. It is the biggest and only multi-campus Sanskrit University in the world today dedicated to the development of all the branches of Sanskrit learning and making Sanskrit resources available through modern systems. The University is meant for the upliftment of linguistic diversity and cultural plurality while arranging for teaching and research in Sanskrit, Pali, and Prakrit in the context of their mutual cultural inter-relationship. 

Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation is proud to be partnering with Central Sanskrit University. Currently, Shastra Research Projects in the subject areas of Economics, Legal Studies, and Political Science, are being pursued at CSU, Prayagraj – Ganganath Jha Campus.
